Any time we get a chance to see Randy Travis back at what he loves, we’re happy.

In Shane Owens’ video for his new single “Country Never Goes Out Of Style,” Travis makes a cameo appearance as Owens sings in the recording studio. It’s fitting for so many reasons. Primarily, it combines two of Travis’ biggest talents — acting and making music.

Not to mention “Country Never Goes Out Of Style,” the first single off Owens’ upcoming album Where I’m Coming From, is the type of song Travis would be proud to be associated with. He can be seen bobbing his head to the music behind a recording console and giving Owens a big happy sign of approval.

In a press release, Owens says,” “This new song means so much to me. It really talks about the way I was raised and the way I live my life today, so it means so much to have Randy join me in the video and talk about my music in that way. It was truly an honor.”

Travis gives a ringing endorsement of Owens as well, sharing his admiration in the following statement. “Shane Owens brings it all: vocal, writing, performance, and passion,” Travis says. “He has paid his dues, remained committed to traditional country and brings you a song with heart and a story.
