Garth Brooks describes his upcoming album as “the most Garth thing” he’s recorded since 1997’s Sevens – and also “the most live thing” he’s ever done. The country icon has been using his massive world tour as songwriting inspiration, and what we’ve heard so far certainly reflects the infectious energy of his show.

“It just jumps out when you hear it,” Brooks tells iHeartRadio. “It’s a great way to introduce everybody to the new record and the new sound, which hopefully will fit in with the old sound, and it’ll all just be Garth.”
